Meet Katie.

Katie Hagel, Owner/Founder at Red Fox Wellness, is an Ayurvedic Practitioner, ANFT-certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide, and Kripalu Yoga Instructor. She completed her 650-hr Ayurvedic Health Counselor training at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health and her Advanced Ayurvedic Practitioner Training (2-yr program) with Dr. Anusha Sehgal of Boston Ayurveda, Inc.

Katie is on the faculty at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, where she teaches Ayurveda workshops, leads outdoor retreats, and facilitates professional mindful outdoor guide training programs both online and on campus.

Katie Hagel helps people manage stress, improve their health and experience more joy by re-establishing a meaningful connection to nature and the healing rhythms of the living Earth. Katie does this through her work as an Ayurvedic practitioner and mindful outdoor guide.

Katie envisions a world where people enjoy radiant health in body, mind and spirit and awaken to the reality of their interconnectedness with all of life.

She believes that happy, healthy people who fall in love with nature are more likely to act in ways that benefit both humanity and the planet. Katie enjoys getting creative in the kitchen and practicing ancestral skills such as foraging for wild edibles and making baskets from natural materials. She is a big fan of anything involving woods, waves and water. Katie loves to travel, especially to wild, off-the-beaten-path destinations where people are still living close to the Earth. Katie is immensely grateful for her time on this amazing and beautiful planet. She believes that there is always more to learn and more to discover. Katie lives with her partner in a log home  on 22 acres of woodland in southern Maine.
